master plans
Maybe you aren’t completely ready for the commitment of a true landscape plan. Master planning allows us to formulate an idea, a vision so to speak, that will allow you to see the possibilities for your space, but provide the flexibility of changes down the road. Styles, trends, even the things we like, change with time. So too, can a master plan.
full plan sets
You’ve decided it’s time to revamp your outdoor living spaces. Whether that means new plantings, a new patio, or a complete renovation of your greenspaces, your options are abundant. A full set of plans will provide you a polished set of drawings that will give you a structured direction for where your spaces need to head. Sets typically include landscape plans, hardscape plans, irrigation plans, and renderings. These can be drawn to allow for self-installation or can be handed off to a contractor for a professional install.
Along with your plans, you will be guided through bidding, contractor hiring, and the installation process. From the first concept sketch to the last plant being put in the ground, West Landscape Design will manage the project from beginning to end.
consulting
Let’s talk! You’ve got your own vision but you aren’t completely sure it’s the right way to go. Consultation services will allow you to talk through your ideas and be assured you’re heading in the right direction. Consultation services can be as simple as a phone call or a site visit. Consultation services can be pre-project or last the duration of your build. Just friendly advice as you make your space come to life!
the process
inventory & analysis
Starting with the basic step of seeing what you have to work with and discussing wants, needs, and functional issues. This is where we will discuss what you want your space to be and what you would like to achieve during the design process and how we will work together to make that happen.
design development
Once we discuss your overall goals for your space, we move into design development. This step includes all the fun of deciding on color palettes, materials, view sheds, form, and the overall aesthetic for your property. It will also include addressing the functional issues and improving the overall health and stability of your space. This is to ensure you get to enjoy your space for years to come!
concept review
We’ve chosen plants, we’ve chosen colors, we’ve chosen materials. Next comes the nitty gritty. This step is where we get into the weeds of your design. We will review several concepts prepared that are all your thoughts and feedback laid out neatly on paper in a functional way. We will discuss pros and cons of each, the absolutelies and the no ways, and narrow your path down to one road. We will discuss every element, how they function independently and holistically within the design, and if it is truly the best application for you and your space. The feedback from this discussion provides everything needed for the final design.
final design
Finally, the fruits of your labor are rewarded. The last step of the process is the finalization of your documents. This step includes providing a cohesive and flushed out design, along with the precise details of how to achieve that design. This step will result in your final deliverables which will include all the documents necessary to transform your space into everything you want it to be.
installation
Along with the full design, I will be along for the ride of the construction of your design until the very last plant or stone is put in the ground. Once you receive your documents, we move into the installation phase. This will include getting you in touch with high quality contractors that will begin the process of implementing your new design with pricing, scheduling, material alternatives, and all necessary site improvements.
